"Sensational. From entrance, to greeting, service, it was the best. I absolutely love Old Town and with places like this makes it even better. The staff are so welcoming and warm, you instantly feel at home. Was lucky enough to have free tasters of a dessert and welcome tea. Great cocktail and drinks menu with amazing prices. Then the food! Amazing Taiwanese-Thai fusion done with class. Had the most perfect Pad Thai, great char and strong flavours all the way through. Then the braised pork belly, wow. Amazing Taiwanese flavours coming through and both sides complement each other perfectly. I'm staying down the road and already excited to come back."

"We were looking for dim sum/Chinese style food and saw glowing reviews from others for Wa Gui, so we tried. Despite high expectations it exceeded all. Rainny welcomed us and introduced us to her restaurant which she has been running solo for a little over 1-1,5 years. Ingredients are fresh (eg her eggplant comes from her own farm) and the highest compliment I can give is that the food tastes like “home”. Food tastes amazing, Rainny and her staff are warm and we had a great experience. Would definitely recommend. Ps we had most dishes from the recommended page: braised pork belly, tinan noodles (less spicy) and eggplant with pork."

"Had lunch here on our final day in Phuket and the food was delicious. I had the Pork Belly Noodles and the meat was cooked so well, it felt like it was melting in my mouth! The manager, Rainny, was incredibly sweet and personable, and shared with us the story of how the business came to be and threw in some tasty Thai dessert for us later on too! The staff had such great energy and also took care of our belongings before we left for the airport. Highly recommended!"
